A wonderful place to have a lovely dinner. Delicious food and great service!
This spot always delivers. They have awesome dishes for fair rates, there no long wait even when the place is busy.
It a real neighborhood place. Quiet. The good is good and the prices are reasonable. The staff remembers you.
Wife and I go there quite often and we don't even live in the immediate area anymore. The food is always consistent and you cannot beat the prices. Plus, you get a generous glass of wine. I recommend this place, yessir.
Great food and service awesome
Great food and atmosphere
My friends & I enjoyed our made-to-order meal @ the Riviera, in Pleasantville, NY. Our crisp salad was dressed w special tasting oil & vinegar. Our main courses were prepared to perfection- Chicken, scrod, egg plant Parmesan, along w a mouth-watering basket of piping hot garlic bread. The service is friendly & attentive. The ambiance is casual, warm & quiet- w no loud music to interfere w our conversation w friends. If you're looking for tasty affordable traditional Italian food & attentive service in a casual setting, try the Riviera in Pleasantville, NY.
Staff is friendly and very helpful food is very good too
Very good italian, pork braciole with gnocci was very good. Salad was like my Italian mother-in-law used to say... you have to mix it with your hands to get the olive oil and red wine vinegar just right... they did it well here! Reasonable too!
Traditional Italian food that is always a hit. The place is not fancy but the food is delicious. Definitely try the gnocchi. Also super kid friendly.
Excellent
The food here is really excellent. I recommend the seafood especially.
WONDERFUL
I have been going to this resturant for years and I love the food. Everything from the salad to the dessert is excellent. I would recommend this resturant to everyone I know.
AMAZING
I have been going to The Riviera for years now, I have had about a dozen family parties there and can only rave about the food. Clams are awesome! Special Salad and garlic bread is always a must have. Truely recommend this resturant for a casual night out. Nothing fancy, but the food is to die for!!!
We go there all the time, we just had my father in laws 95th birthday party there and it was amazing, great food, great atmosphere, very accommodating, wonderful service, Tom the owner cooks the most delicious meals...very laid back and totally enjoyable...
Great food, service and prices! Order the same meal and wine in any other Italian restaurant in the area and it'll cost you a lot more!
An old fashioned Italian restaurant with large portions, good prices and excellent food. Highly recommended!
What a find! A true old fashioned italian family restaurant with great food and value. I'm from Long Island, and enjoy going there when I am in the area - all the food is great but I'm a simple guy at times - my favorites are the short ribs, and the veal parmigana - and of course a fresh salad, sauted spinach and garlic bread.
This place is consistently good- friendly service, good food at reasonable prices. Just be sure to set your expectations right- it is basic decor, NOT fancy in the least bit!!! simple food and ambiance leaves a lot to be desired BUT its Great for the family or just a comfortable laid back dinner. Its our go to for a casual evening with the family- you know what you're getting and never disappoints.
Comfortable out of the way restaurant. Serves good food at reasonable prices---parking a little tricky as well as locating the restaurant itself. Never left there hungry
Very good, relaible, Italian food. Just like your grandma used to make!! I can always count on this place for a good meal. Nothing outstanding but definitely good!
Good food at reasonable prices. This place hasn't changed in 30 years. Frankly it could use a little brightening up, nonetheless, it a safe bet.
Another date night winner! Sweet little place with great food tucked away on a side street. Really enjoyed their chicken picatta and hubby's chicken parm was great. Also love that they have potato croquettes - how deliciously old school!
Amazing food and service. Although the place doesn't have great curb appeal it's one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. Definitely will be back!!
I have lived in this area for many years and never heard of this restaurant until a friend told me about it, What a pleasant surprise. I started with the string beans and Gorgonzola which was very tasty and actually better than a much higher priced Italian restaurant in the area. My wife had the Beet salad and enjoyed it.
For main courses we had chicken piccata which was served with a potato croquette and mussels with linguine. Both well prepared and delicious. We skipped dessert.
The service could not have been more accommodating and friendly.
We will definitely be back.
This is the second visit here and I seemed to enjoy as much, if not better than the first time. Yes, this place is dated, but, for me, I'm glad. I seem to miss the comfortable small town Italian restaurant of yesteryear. The food is fantastic, the servers and service even better. Nobody's on top of you trying to "sell" you more drinks, appetizers or desserts. Just ask for anything and it's right there. The pricing is not like the 80's but it's pretty close. The portion size is more than sufficient. I'm new to the neighborhood and both my wife and I will be making this a regular stop of ours.
My favorite restaurant. Came here tonight. & was not dissapointed. Nice homestyle Italian food.
We ordered Chicken Francois & stuffed salmon. These dishes are to die for. Order them with a vegetable side dish. The deserts are made on the premises & are delicious. Try the cheesecake!
Really an outstanding place. The garlic bread is worthy of being an entre. The Chicken Francese is always on point. Not to mention how reasonable the prices are.
Best (and biggest) chicken parm you will ever have! Everything on the menu is delicious! Tom and the staff are very friendly too which makes for a great experience.
Everything they make is delicious always looking forward to come back they make the best Italian food
Hidden gem down a residential side street in Pleasantville. Not easy to find but my GPS got me there.Great Italian food and stellar service.
Everything tasted home made and fresh.
A BIG HIT with my eclectic work crew.
I will definitely be back with the family.
A must try if your in the area.Call first, they have limited hours at times.
I went there without expectations and left impressed. The pasta
was outstanding. Best I've had in a long time!
My partner and I came on a Thursday evening and were the only ones in the place. We didn't even know it was in Pleasantville until we happened to walk by one day. The staff was incredible and sweet, and very attentive. The chef also obliged a special request to make a gluten-free meal for us to take home to our daughter. All of this on top of the fact that the food was top notch. I would definitely recommend trying out this place!
Good food moderately priced
Great food. It's like eating at Grandma's.
Old fashioned italian. Nothing fancy but food is fabulous.
Excellent and consistent everytime. Musssels, Homemade manicotti, homemade cream puff and cheesecake are a must try. I've had the chicken parm, penne vodka, linguine clam sauce all of which excellent.
I love it there everyone is so nice and the food is wonderful. It's comfortable for a person with a walker to find seating but they do need a ramp as the door and a step are close together. But the space inside is very good for someone with a Walker or wheelchair. I do recomend.
